Roof wrap install on an Acura Integra - Aura Vinyl

Roof wrap install on an Acura Integra

This video shows a solo roof wrap installation on a green 1994 to 2001 Acura Integra. Wrapping a vehicle roof alone is straightforward when you follow a clear sequence of steps.

Solo roof wrap steps

The installer demonstrates the complete roof application from initial placement to the final cut:

  1. Tack one corner down to keep the vinyl anchored in position.
  2. Pull the backing paper all the way through from underneath the sheet.
  3. Lift the material on both sides to glass it out across the panel.
  4. Glass out each corner to release surface tension.
  5. Place the squeegee in the middle and work your way outward toward yourself.

If wrinkles appear along the edges, lift the material and squeegee the section down at the same time. Once the entire roof is squeegeed flat, cut the film down to shape around the edges.

Vinyl wrap material

Aura Vinyl vinyl wrap features a cast polymer hybrid film with German-made adhesive. The material uses a PET backing that creates a smooth finish with reduced orange peel, making solo repositioning and squeegeeing easier during panel installations.
